About Us

International Mother Earth Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) Soul-Centered, global humanitarian charity. It was founded in 2012, by Linda Slade and Marjan Tavakkolian.

Our organization assists communities in manifesting their visions through the active participation of our volunteers in projects such as construction, agricultural, educational programs and creative and empowerment workshops. We share our knowledge, skills and talents with the goal of providing opportunities for communities to become self-sufficient and thrive.

IMEF independently sponsors communities and partners with other charities by providing volunteers and fundraising

A Message from CEO/Founder Linda Slade:

“The richest experiences in my life unfolded in some of the world’s poorest places. Helping to restore homes in Mississippi, build an orphanage in Mexico and a school in Africa, are among my most treasured memories.

On your next vacation, consider forgoing two weeks at the beach to volunteer on a service project that will help improve people’s lives—while enriching your own. You will discover another culture, make new friends and feel inspired. If you’re like most International Mother Earth Foundation volunteers, you will discover that in the act of helping to build a better world our own heart opens.”

– Linda Slade, CEO/Founder of International Mother Earth Foundation

Be a part of a team—or help to fund a team—that brings clean water to a village in a developing country or help build a schoolhouse in a remote community. Consider funding a local teacher or contributing to our solar panel fund. You will not only change a child’s life but will experience the gift of knowing your actions and support made a difference. Be the change you want to see in the world!
